By Aloysius "TRUE ELITISM
In modern society we have become inundated with brain numbing, thought restricted, concept blocking imagery and audio logical drabble. ?Realism? isn?t real, yet we are lulled into accepting what we view in media as ?truth?. Science is only as knowledgeable as individual funding will allow. Religion is in itself the ?god? to be worshipped as it is changed to meet the ?needs? of its? followers who are nothing more than fickle, bumbling leaders themselves. Technology has turned the zombie-like half-wits into aeronautical engineer-equivalent masterminds who still cannot lace their own shoestrings. Scattered among the carnage are the last few remnants of mankind at his best, or at least, those who still strive for a certain perfection of self discarded by the masses. Satanism, by any other name would not bring about so many raised eyebrows; yet it?s only true danger is that is dares to allow those on it?s course to be responsible for their own actions and the role those actions play in the universe around them.
WHAT IS THE REAL EVIL?
Beyond the trash heap of humanity and the restricted minds of those who write the various books of theological law lays a concept that has been distorted and often buried from the view of common man. Satan has become the bastard child of heaven tossed into a mythical pit of torment whose only purpose has been to keep man from straying into a free thinking society. Yet, if one is to actually read and grasp the conceptual thinking of scripture, the only sin committed by Satan was to introduce knowledge to mankind. So by restricting the ability for the individual to gather this knowledge, god succeeded in his quest to keep human beings ignorant.
In this way, the Judea Christian religion was able to maintain a ?hold? on their people keeping them blinded to the truth and instilling fear.
THE INDIVIDUAL AND THE SATANIC IDEA
Those few who dare to break the mold and become individualists are demonized and become suspect to the social structure of society. Yet society neglects to recognize the contributions those pursuing ?free thought? make in attempting to create a balance between earth and man. Anyone standing outside of the confined structure of theological doctrine must acknowledge their role in the playing field that is life.
This ?militant? must also recognize that there is nothing evil in unity. That individualism will not be lost if ?self? seeks out others on the same lonely course to pursue common positive goals. But unlike Social Darwinism which allows that ANY majority can become dominant, regardless of character or genetic weaknesses, the ?militant? must possess meritocracy and thus ally themselves with the same. Social Darwinism demands that society looks more favorably upon those who have monetary status, power inherited through name only, or can be manipulated by the media to seduce the interest of the public in a strictly commercialized venture. Since this idea is considered acceptable and left unquestioned, the individualists must understand that they may be overlooked for those things that rightfully should be within their reach.
On the other hand, Meritocracy allows opportunity for those more deserving; by acknowledging and rewarding those abilities learned and developed by those who have the fortitude. Developing ?positive? strengths such as intelligence and creativity are the common goal. Unity is essential for those who understand that merit should be awarded for true ability that has been strived for and attained through diligence.
Therefore, the key to successful Satanic unity is to unify STRENGTH while eradicating weakness. There is no room for weak links in this concept. Only those who show their strength through natural abilities and talents should be brought into the Satanic fold.
TRUE MERIT AND WORTH
Accepting that there is a universe and we are both miniscule AND great in it?s? existence is a tough balancing act. In death we become nothing more than a blip on the radar of subsistence; yet in life we can fell a tree or plant a forest. Understanding that individualism does not have to equate selfishness is a challenging aspect. The concept of self does not represent the idea of putting one?s own wants and needs above everything else. This becomes counter productive when it results in one?s own demise. Knowing one?s place in the cosmos does not constitute a forfeiture of truth; rather it is the recognition of truth. By acknowledgement and acceptance of this, the journey does not become less treacherous, but survivalism will take precedence and unified skills make the outcome more favorable. Unlike the Christian idea that a ?God? will take care of the masses if they merely ask, Satanism does not guarantee a life without pitfalls. The Satanist learns that there is a reaction to every action, and must learn to make careful choices to avoid as many unfortunate situations as possible. Learning from mistakes, and thus not repeating them, is an essential component in this. Also understanding there is often circumstances far beyond the control of the Satanist is to be accepted, and thus, must be dealt with as constructively as possible. The Satanic idea is to strive for improvement, enjoy life to the fullest, accepting responsibility for what can be controlled, and dealing in a positive manner with what cannot be controlled. Learning to accept that happiness, sadness, achievement and failure are a part of life and learning from each situation makes one stronger and better able to survive.
A NEW SATANIC IDEA
Satan as the idea, not the myth, is a representation of the best man can strive to attain. The rebel who cared enough about the world created to defy legislation and bring light to others. A troublemaker, by certain standards, who dared tip the scales toward a more equal balance. A rabble-rouser who gave music, art, poetry, science, dreams and ideas to those who otherwise would be lost in darkness.
We must forever discard the notion of the Satanic idea fed to us through those who despise the most elemental concepts of flourishment in order for the continuation process to continue.
Bringing Satan to the forefront as a Revolutionary who dared to rebel against what he viewed as injustice as opposed to the idea of him as nothing more that a trickster, is a concept the Satanic community must embrace.
Acknowledging what is positive in the concept of Satan instead of the negative aspects should be the goal. What society holds as the image of Satan is incorrect; ?the boogeyman under the bed? train of thought to keep the herd in line. We must go in the direction of Satan as the positive and the light along a path left for too long in darkness
